Famous Scenes in Face Paint

Weird artist re-creates famous sci-fi scenes—with face paint!

This is just bizarre. Artist James Kuhn undertook a project to paint his face every day for a year. When his project succeeded in drawing some attention, he launched into it for a second year. Here are some of the best examples of his art.

I love how a part of the drawing is actually the reflection in the mirror. Brusspup has an entire Youtube Channel devoted to optical illusions. Pac-Man is one of the geekiest, but not necessarily the most amazing.

The winners of The Washington Post’s annual Peeps diorama show (Peeps Show IV) have just been announced. The winning entry, "EEP" by Michael Chirlin and Veronica Ettle, recreated a scene from Pixar’s animated movie Up, beat over 1,100 other contestants to capture first place
